The second investment he made was by purchasing Tata Tea shares in the year 1986. According to Forbes magazine, he is ranked as the 36th richest man of India with an estimated net worth of $6.1 billion as of October 2021. According to Forbes, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s total wealth is about 6.1 billion USD. Besides, as per data, he earns Rs. 100 crores+ on monthly basis and Rs 1120 crores on annual basis.

6. A Philanthropist

With an annual donation of Rs 50 crore, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala topped the new entrant’s list of ‘Edelgive Hurun India Philanthropy list’ 2021. This sum counts as 13.69 lakh per day. He said that his father wasn’t much concerned about his wealth, but every year his father asked him how much he had donated to charity. When his father passed away in 2008, he really missed him and started donating 25% of his dividend income. His charitable portfolio comprises nutrition and education.

The big bull has decided to give 25% of his portfolio or 5000 crores whichever is less on July 5 2021 in charity. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala said “I have the money, but I don’t have the will to spend it. I don’t ask God for more wealth, but to give me the power to give it away” at Motilal Oswal Financial Services event. Moreover, He helps ‘St Jude’ which gives shelter to cancer-affected children and is also a trustee of ‘Agastya International foundation’, an organization that spreads learning to disadvantaged children and teachers.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is known as ‘Warren Buffett of India’ is a stock trader and investor and a Bollywood movies producer. He is a big fan of Bollywood. He has produced three Bollywood movies till now including English Vinglish, Shamitabh, and Ki & Ka. Moreover, he started Hungama Digital Media with four other partners in 1999 as an online promotions agency.  Later its name was changed to Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt.
